In Hebrew, Laev means “heart,” which just happens to be producer/songwriter/ teacher Zak Jablow’s middle name and latest incarnation. Ironically, it comes after a two-year stint that included a heart attack and a stroke sandwiched around the birth of his daughter, which has led to a career reinvention, a new identity, a new hometown (Los Angeles) and a new five-song EP, “With Clear Eyes,” featuring collaborations with a quintet of new artist discoveries from all over -- The Morning After Crew, Nkukyung, The David Way, Air Credits and Murry – to be followed by a full album, “With Love in Your Heart,” in spring 2023.
